The fiery spirit of Minh Duc Group at the Sports Festival celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the University of Transport and Communications
On the afternoon of November 8, 2025, as part of the celebration marking the 80th anniversary of the University of Transport and Communications, the Friendly Sports Festival took place in an energetic atmosphere with three events: Men’s Football, Tennis, and Pickleball.
The event was organized by the University of Transport and Communications, with the participation and collaboration of Minh Duc Group, the Lang Son Department of Construction, and the Lao Cai Department of Construction.
The spectacular comeback of Minh Duc FC
As one of the key contributors to the team’s remarkable victory, Mr. Tran Luong — a member of Minh Duc FC — proudly shared: “Ending the match with three goals, each one was the result of effort, teamwork, and pride in wearing the jersey of our Group’s football team. This victory is a testament to the unyielding team spirit of the Minh Duc warriors.”
Mr. Trần Lượng, wearing jersey number 82, delivered an outstanding performance by scoring a crucial brace, contributing significantly to the team’s overall victory.
Earlier, as part of the series of friendly sports activities, the football match between Minh Duc FC and the University of Transport and Communications FC was considered the highlight of the tournament.
Mr. The Van, wearing jersey number 25, scored the equalizing goal, reigniting hope for the entire team.
Despite being down by one goal in the first half, Minh Duc FC quickly regained control of the game thanks to their fighting spirit and timely tactical adjustments. The team went on to score three stunning goals against their opponents, finishing the match with an emotional 3–2 victory.
Minh Duc FC truly delivered an impressive and fair-play performance in the friendly match.
Pickleball & Tennis – Matches that strengthen connection and camaraderie
Not only shining on the football field, Minh Duc Group also made a strong impression in Tennis and Pickleball — where the spirit of sportsmanship, connection, and camaraderie was vibrantly showcased.
In the Tennis event, Mr. Pham Van Sang – Executive Director of Minh Duc Comec Joint Stock Company – enthusiastically shared: “I’m very glad to represent Minh Duc Group in this friendly exchange with the University of Transport and Communications, the Departments of Construction of Lao Cai and Lang Son, as well as our industry partners. Our core spirit in participating is to connect, exchange experiences, and strengthen our cooperative relationships.”
Mr. Pham Van Sang represented Minh Duc Group in the friendly Tennis matches.
Continuing the lively atmosphere, in the Pickleball event, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dang – Head of Sales at Maastricht Vietnam – also shared:
“Participating in the Sports Festival, my teammates and I at Minh Duc prioritize sportsmanship and friendly exchange above all. This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendship and unity among the participating organizations through these friendly sports competitions.”
Minh Duc Group also participated in Pickleball, represented by Mr. Nguyen Khac Dang and his teammates.
Not stopping at the friendly activities, Minh Duc Group continued to make its mark in the series of key events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the University of Transport and Communications.
Accordingly, from November 14 to 16, 2025, at the “Convergence – Innovation – Development” 80th Anniversary Science & Technology Conference and Exhibition held at the University of Transport and Communications, Minh Duc Group will present a booth showcasing its standout products, reflecting over 15 years of efforts in research, construction, and technological mastery in the infrastructure sector.
This participation not only marks a meaningful milestone alongside the University of Transport and Communications but also demonstrates Minh Duc Group’s strong commitment to supporting the sustainable development of Vietnam’s construction industry.
