HANOI PARKCENTRIC: 9,482 LINEAR METERS OF GROUND ANCHORING – A TESTAMENT TO SSC VIETNAM'S EXECUTION EXCELLENCE
Maintaining our position as the leading foundation and anchor drilling contractor by consistently affirming our reputation and brand within this specialized market segment.
In 2026, SSC Vietnam continues to partner with major landmark projects nationwide, highlighted by the Hanoi ParkCentric Residential Complex in Hanoi.
Project Scale and Execution Volume
Hanoi ParkCentric is a prominently scaled project featuring three high-rise towers and two deep basement levels. Executing deep foundation excavations in dense urban environments invariably presents significant challenges regarding the safety of adjacent infrastructure. To ensure absolute control over excavation deformation, SSC Vietnam designed and implemented a large-scale ground anchoring program with highly demanding technical specifications. The earth retention system utilizes prestressed ground anchors arranged in three robust load-bearing layers. The total scope of work for this package comprises 340 anchors, with an aggregate drilling length reaching 9,482 linear meters.

The Strategic Role of Ground Anchors at Hanoi ParkCentric
In complex deep excavation projects such as Hanoi ParkCentric, the ground anchoring works undertaken by SSC Vietnam go beyond standard construction procedures—serving as a fundamental geotechnical solution that provides immense structural value:
Deformation Control: Guaranteeing strict stability for shoring and retaining structures against geological stresses.
Counteracting Lateral Pressure: Completely transferring and neutralizing horizontal earth pressures acting on the excavation faces during the basement digging and construction phases.
Safeguarding Surrounding Infrastructure: Maximizing the restriction of retaining wall movement to completely eliminate risks of soil collapse and surface subsidence, ensuring zero compromise to the safety of neighboring structures and public utilities.

Standardized 5-Step Ground Anchoring Procedure
To guarantee the quality of nearly 10,000 linear meters of ground anchors, SSC Vietnam’s Site Management Board and engineering team maintain a constant on-site presence, enforcing rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) at every stage through a standardized 5-step sequence:
Borehole Positioning: Utilizing electronic total stations for surveying, verifying elevations, and precisely locating the anchor hole centers in strict compliance with the approved shop drawings.
Drilling Execution: Operating modern specialized drilling rigs while meticulously controlling the inclination angle and design depth to ensure the boreholes penetrate through critical slip surfaces.
Tendon Installation: Thoroughly inspecting the technical specifications of the anchor tendon (including the bond length, free length, and stressing length) prior to inserting the tendon into the borehole.
High-Pressure Grouting: Continuously monitoring the cement grouting process from the bottom of the borehole. The grouting pressure and mix design are strictly controlled to ensure maximum bond strength between the anchor bulb and the surrounding soil stratum.
Prestressed Tensioning: The stressing process is exclusively executed after 7 days (once the grout tests achieve the required R7 compressive strength). All elongation measurements for each individual anchor are transparently recorded and rigorously accepted.
