The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Project Owner, the Project Management Board, the Supervision Consultant, as well as the leadership of Minh Duc Construction Group, Minh Duc EC Company, and the engineers and site personnel currently working on the project.

After nearly seven months of construction, Minh Duc EC successfully completed the Block 9 slope reinforcement embankment package, fully meeting the project’s technical, quality, and schedule requirements. Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences is a luxury resort development under Alphanam Group, located within the Muong Hoa Cultural Park complex.

In Sapa, where the project faced complex geological conditions, harsh weather, and stringent technical requirements from the project owner, Minh Duc EC’s engineering team made significant efforts to develop flexible engineering calculations and apply appropriate solutions to ensure safety and construction quality.

According to Mr Le Van Duong, the construction works were carried out under a strict technical procedure, beginning with site positioning and staged slope excavation to ensure terrain stability. Subsequently, the contractor drilled holes, installed the anchoring system, and injected grout into the soil and rock foundation to enhance load-bearing capacity. The slope surface was then reinforced with B40 steel mesh, strengthening steel bars, and a protective concrete layer. Once the concrete reached R7 strength, the anchoring system was tensioned and shotcrete was applied to ensure the anchoring force complied fully with the design specifications.

At the ceremony, Mr Nguyen Van Manh stated that throughout the construction process, technical execution, quality control, and occupational safety were closely monitored through the coordinated efforts of the Project Owner, the Project Management Board, and the Supervision Consultant.

To date, the Block 9 slope reinforcement package has fulfilled all technical requirements and is fully qualified for inspection, handover, and operation.

Overcoming the challenging terrain conditions of Vietnam’s Northwest region, Minh Duc EC successfully completed the project package while fully ensuring the highest standards of safety and technical quality. This achievement not only demonstrates the professional execution capabilities of the engineering team, but also further reinforces Minh Duc EC’s leading position in the field of slope stabilization and reinforcement.
