Leadership Development Journey: 5 Training Modules for Middle Managers at Minh Duc Group

On October 10, the training series for middle managers at Minh Duc Group officially came to a close. The program served as an important stepping stone, helping the management team enhance their leadership capabilities, confidently lead their teams, and contribute to the Group’s sustainable development.

In every enterprise, middle managers are the “backbone” that connects the leadership with employees, playing a key role in operations and development. To strengthen their management capacity and leadership skills, Minh Đức Construction Group, in collaboration with OD CLICK Consulting, organized a series of five core training modules aimed at building a team of capable, effective, and inspiring managers.

Let’s take a look back at the five training modules below:

Module 1: Becoming an Effective Manager

Transitioning from a “skilled specialist” to an “effective manager” is a complete shift in mindset. This module helps the management team redefine their role within the organization. They move from being hands-on executors to coordinators who allocate resources and take responsibility for the team’s overall results.

Module 2: Coaching, Feedback, and Motivation Skills

A good manager not only oversees operations but also inspires and develops people. This module helps managers become true coaches, capable of unlocking potential, guiding employees’ growth, and boosting their confidence at work. Participants also practice delivering constructive feedback and motivating their teams, fostering a positive, cohesive spirit and driving collective achievement of shared goals.

Module 3: Planning and Delegation Skills

Planning is the first step in turning a vision into reality. A clear and detailed plan helps the team stay on track and achieve objectives. This module provides tools and methods for creating a practical plan, from setting SMART goals to allocating resources effectively.

In addition, delegation skills are equally important. Delegating is not just “passing tasks” to others, but empowering employees and creating opportunities for their growth. Managers learned how to assign the right tasks to the right people and effectively monitor progress to ensure everything stays under control.

Module 4: Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills

In the ever-changing business environment, problems can arise at any time. This module equips managers with critical thinking and a systematic approach to identify issues, analyze root causes, and find optimal solutions.

Once a solution is identified, making the right decision becomes crucial. Managers learn decision-making models, how to assess risks, and how to choose the best course of action, even in high-pressure situations.

Module 5: Communication, Collaboration, and Team-Building Skills

In a team, each member is like a brick, and the manager is the architect who understands how to arrange and connect them to build a strong “structure” called the team. The “cement” that binds these bricks together is none other than communication.

Here, managers practice listening, conveying, and empathizing, fostering an open and sincere flow of communication within the team. At the same time, they develop collaboration skills, learning how to leverage each individual’s strengths to create collective synergy.

Team cohesion is not just about working together; it’s about trusting one another and striving toward a shared goal—where every member feels valued, recognized, and ready to give their best for Minh Duc Group’s “collective project”.

Conclusion

As the training series concludes, a new journey begins—applying knowledge in practice, inspiring teams, and optimizing daily work performance. This marks the shift from “learning to understand” to “learning to act,” enabling every manager at Minh Đức Construction Group to become a true leader within the organization.
