Minh Duc Group recruits expert with experience in China’s leading high-speed railway projects
In the context of Vietnam accelerating investment in transport infrastructure and preparing to implement large-scale high-speed railway projects, Minh Duc Group has successfully recruited Mr. Chen Kai – a high-speed railway bridge and road expert with nearly 20 years of experience, who has participated in many of China's key high-speed railway projects.
This is considered one of the next steps in Minh Duc Group's strategy to enhance technical capabilities, access international experience, and prepare high-quality human resources for new-generation transport infrastructure sectors.

Expert Chen Kai officially joins Minh Duc Group from June 2026, contributing to strengthening the high-quality professional resources for the enterprise.
Expert with extensive experience from large-scale high-speed railway projects
Mr. Chen Kai graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University with a major in Civil Engineering and is currently a Senior Bridge and Road Engineer in China. During his nearly two decades of work, he has held various positions ranging from construction engineer, design engineer, to general contractor project manager at leading enterprises in China's transport infrastructure sector.
From 2006 to 2009, he participated in the construction of the Wuhan - Guangzhou High-Speed Railway as a bridge, tunnel, and roadbed engineer. This was China's first long-distance high-speed railway designed for speeds of up to 350 km/h, laying the foundation for the rapid development of the national high-speed railway network.
From 2009 to 2015, as a Senior Engineer at the China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group, Mr. Chen Kai participated in surveying, designing, and verifying many large-scale high-speed railway projects such as the Shanghai - Kunming, Chengdu - Guiyang, and Chongqing - Guiyang lines.
Notably, the Shanghai - Kunming line, stretching over 2,250 km, is the longest East-West high-speed railway in China, connecting many of the country's major economic centers. For this project, he participated in the survey and design of concrete bridge structures and contributed to the design of the Beipanjiang Bridge – one of the most technically outstanding bridge projects at the time of implementation.
Regarding the Chengdu - Guiyang line, one of the high-speed railways with the most complex topographical conditions in Southwest China, he was responsible for verifying the design of the bridge system for the entire line and participated in the design of special steel structure bridges.
Marking his presence at many infrastructure projects considered engineering icons of China
Since 2015, Mr. Chen Kai has continued to serve as a Senior Engineer and General Contractor Project Manager, directly participating in design, construction management, and technical support for numerous large-scale infrastructure projects.
The list of projects he has participated in ranges from the Zhengzhou - Chongqing, Chongqing - Changsha, and Chengdu - Chongqing (middle route) lines to the Sichuan - Tibet railway – a project considered by experts as one of the most difficult to implement in the world due to the need to traverse high mountain terrain, harsh climates, and exceptionally complex geological conditions.
Beyond designing large-scale prestressed concrete bridges, cable-stayed bridges, and steel structure bridges, he also provides direct technical support during construction, resolving complex technical issues related to high-speed railway bridges.
According to industry experts, the projects that Mr. Chen Kai has participated in are seen as the "practical school" of China's high-speed railway industry, converging world-leading technologies, technical standards, and construction experience.
The successful recruitment of Mr. Chen Kai continues to demonstrate Minh Duc Group's systematic investment strategy in high-quality personnel within the transport infrastructure sector.
With over 16 years of development, Minh Duc Group has participated in the construction of many key transport projects across the country, gradually affirming its capacity in the fields of bridges, roads, and technical infrastructure.
In the context of Vietnam standing before opportunities to develop high-speed railway projects and large-scale modern transport systems, accessing international experience, supplementing a team of highly experienced experts, and enhancing technical capabilities are considered key tasks for the enterprise.
The addition of Mr. Chen Kai not only contributes to strengthening the professional capacity of Minh Duc Group's technical team but also opens up opportunities to access valuable experience from large-scale infrastructure projects that have been successfully implemented in China.
Through this, the enterprise continues to consolidate its foundation in human resources, technology, and project management, aiming to participate more deeply in Vietnam's strategic infrastructure projects in the coming period.
