Within the framework of the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed upon several important areas of cooperation. These areas are not only strategic in nature but also bring practical benefits to both parties.

On In-depth Research of Technical Solutions:

A key highlight of this collaboration is the research on advanced technical solutions, particularly in two areas: suspension bridges with cable systems and reinforced retaining walls. These types of structures are highly complex, requiring advanced technology and expertise. The combination of the University of Transport’s experienced faculty and experts with Minh Đức Construction Group’s resources and practical project experience will foster groundbreaking research and effective applications in the country’s major transportation projects.

On Organizing Professional Workshops and Technology Transfer:

To disseminate knowledge and update the latest technologies, the two sides will jointly organize a series of professional workshops. A notable example is the 'Suspension Bridge Workshop,' scheduled for the end of September, with the participation of leading experts from both Vietnam and abroad. This promises to be a valuable forum for scientists, engineers, and students to exchange experiences, explore emerging trends, and gain access to modern technical solutions from around the world.1

In addition, the cooperation also focuses on developing technologies for bridge repair and strengthening. With the country’s existing and operating bridge system, maintenance and upgrades are of paramount importance. In-depth research on geotechnical engineering will also be promoted to ensure safety and sustainability for future construction projects.

Minh Duc Group and the University of Transportand Communications share a common vision for human resource development. The two sides will jointly participate in the Network of Centers of Excellence in Transportation Technology and Smart Infrastructure, coordinated by the University of Transport and Communications. This network will serve as a bridge for students to access advanced training programs and stay updated with the latest technologies.

To support and encourage students, Minh Duc Group will provide scholarships. This initiative not only offers financial assistance but also serves as a motivation for students to excel in their studies and research, while orienting them towards practical fields in construction and transportation, thereby meeting the recruitment needs of the market..

The 'Three-Party' Cooperation Model – Government, Academia, and Enterprise

An important highlight of the meeting was the joint affirmation of the 'Government – Academia – Enterprise' cooperation model. This is a strategic orientation that links policy, education, and production, creating a closed value chain from research to application.

• Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on the Development of Science, Technology, and Innovation
